Dubai Airport Terminal 3

Terminal 3

Terminal 3 is huge and covers more than 1.7 million square feet, hosting Emirates Airlines. The company, based in Dubai, is the largest airline in the Middle East and has over 3,600 flights per week from Dubai International Airport to destinations in more than 80 countries.

  • Terminal 3 levels

Terminal 3 is divided into Concourse A, B and C, and is divided into four levels.

Level 1 at Terminal 3 is the main arrivals area where you’ll find yourself if you’re flying in to Dubai. It has all the usual services including baggage carousels to claim your luggage, rental car companies and other transportation to get you from the airport to the city.

Level 2 is for boarding, after you’ve completed check-in for your flight.

Level 3 is the main departures level where you’ll go first if you’re flying out of Dubai. Here you’ll find the check-in desks as well as a handful of other services. This level also includes a massive food court and plenty of retail options if you want to do some pre-flight shopping.

Level 4 is also designated for arrivals, though Level 1 is the primary arrivals area.

  • Terminal 3 lounges

There are two lounge companies servicing Terminal 3, so you can choose which best suits your needs. The first is Ahlan Lounge at B, located in Concourse B near Gate B26.

This sleek lounge has wooden floors and leather seats, creating a relaxing atmosphere. Among the perks are free Wifi, access to showers, and refrigerators stocked with refreshments. Note that you can only use the lounge for a maximum of three hours and you must be flying with Emirates Airlines. The dress code for the lounge is recommended as smart casual.

Alternatively, the luxury lounge operator Marhaba Lounge also services Terminal 3, with several lounges in the building offering services to relax and pamper you before your flight.

Among the amenities on offer at the lounges are a buffet of hot and cold food and drinks, including alcoholic beverages, as well as children’s play areas, free Wifi and more.

In Concourse A, the Marhaba Lounge is located between Gates A3 and A2. In Concourse B, you’ll find the lounge by Gate B26. And there’s a third located in Concourse C.

  • Terminal 3 hotel

A unique feature of Terminal 3 compared to Terminals 1 and 2 is that it also includes a hotel. Known as the Dubai International Airport Terminal Hotel, it’s a five-star hotel that provides peace of mind for your journey because you’re staying at the airport, so you don’t have the stress of getting from somewhere else to the airport on your day of travel.

The hotel has 530 rooms of varying sizes and prices, all with their own bathrooms. Amenities on offer include a spa, swimming pools, and a 24-hour health club. The hotel also has nine different restaurants, or for a lighter meal there are four coffee shops and cafes.
